A jewel from South Africa

For your reading pleasure today, we have an alternative model straight out of South Africa. Blessed with incredibly sexy eyes, a killer attitude, and posting some of the hottest pic sets on SuicideGirls.com is Tarion. She was kind enough to take the time for these interview question and send them to me from her home in Johannesburg. So let's get to know a little bit more about Tarion Suicide...

Name:Tarion Suicide
Age: I'll never tell :P
Measurements: 33/26/33 (inches)
Location:Johannesburg South Africa
Website (MySpace, Facebook, etc): For now I'm just on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/profile.php?ref=profile&id=1174673715

CoI: Thanks for taking the time to answer some questions. How are you today?
TS: I'm feeling good, just come back from three weeks of partying round South Africa :D
CoI: WOW!!! Three weeks huh? I'm a big fan of a woman who can take her relaxation time serious!!!

CoI: How old were you when you first got into tattoos and/or piercings?
TS: Oh I've always loved the alternative look ever since I was little. Started bugging my parents to let me have a tat from the age of 14. They only gave in on my 18th birthday though. Still it was cool of them to pay for my very first tat.
CoI: Yeah, I would agree, very cool of your parents. I actually have a friend whose little girl is very much in love with the alternative look as well, and she is only like 2 years old!

CoI: What got you interested in them?
TS: I think I loved being different and doing what the masses didn't approve of. Always had a bit of a rebellious streak I suppose. Its changed now though. I see tattoos as art, and I love decorating my body with them.

CoI: How many do you currently have and where?
TS: I currently have 6. They are on my ankle, wrist, right side, right lower back, bottom middle back and my whole right shoulder going onto my back. Shoulder tat is not nearly finished though. Its in a constant state of flux. It should end up being a full sleeve and then going down my side and onto my back. I want to integrate most of my tats to make one nice big one lol.

CoI: What is your favorite style of tattoos?
TS: Well I've been through a few tattoo style phases. When I was younger it was all tribal and celtic, now I've moved away from that towards a more realistic style. I used to only want black, now I'm dying for loads of colour. I've always liked the whole nature theme though. I'm loving my ivy and cherry blossoms. Funny how your tastes change as you get older ;)

CoI: Do you have a favorite?
TS: I'd say my latest shoulder tat is my favourite. Its just so beautifully done, and when it is eventually finished I think its going to be really outstanding. I think I have the coolest tattoo artist ever at the moment. Brent Goudie of Rogue Ink is truly an artist ;)

CoI: How do you find people react to your tattoos?
TS: Actually most people like them. And if they don't they tend to keep it to themselves lol. My mom loves them, and my work collegues are fascinated by them. I think a lot of people look at me and wonder what it would be like for them if they had one.

CoI: Do you subscribe to any tattoo publications?
TS: I'm embarrassed to say I don't. But I see so many on Suicide Girls and my friends that I don't think I'm missing out too much. Also the internet is a wonderful thing :D

CoI: Have you attended any tattoo conventions? If so Which one(s)?
TS: I've only actually been to one and that was Ink and Iron. There aren't very many tattoo conventions that I know of in Johannesburg sadly. All the ones I'm aware of tend to happen in Cape Town. I'd love to go to more though. Its such a good vibe.

CoI: Do you find that you prefer guys with tattoos?
TS: Oh yes definitely! I find tattoos incredibly sexy.

CoI: Is there any place you would never consider getting a tattoo or peircing on your body?
TS: The souls of my feet, because I've heard that it is insanely uncomfortable and on my face. I love my tats but its also fun to hide them sometimes, and see peoples surprise when they discover what you look like underneath the work clothes ;)

CoI: You model at SuicideGirls.com, as well. How did you find out about that website?
TS: Oh I came across it years ago when a male friend of mine was raving about Apnea, and ex Suicide Girl. I fell in love with her pics and just had to find out about the site. I always fantasized about becoming an SG but had no idea how to go about it. In a very happy twist of fate I hooked up with Talamia a few years later and since we are both mad about Suicide Girls, it became our project.
CoI: Ahhhh, yes, Apnea. She was a classic SG for sure.

CoI: Were you nervous to post pics there initially?
TS: Actually no. I was so excited I couldnt wait for them to go up. I guess I had been wanting it for so long and the fact that I might actually get what I always wanted far outshadowed any nervousness I had.

CoI:  Do family and friends know you post there?
TS: Most of my friends know I'm an SG, in fact a lot of my friends are now either SGs or Hopefuls haha. My family knows that I'm an alternative Pin Up model but they don't know all the details. Perhaps one day I'll tell them but for now I'm happy with the way things are ;)

CoI: I know from prior dealing with posting pics at sites (one of my exes did),  that along with complimentary comments from others, some negative ones are sent as well. How do you deal with rude, obnoxious, and sometimes just mean comments from others?
TS: Well I try not to take it personally. I mean you really can't please all the people all the time. I'll never be every ones cup of tea. I just try to ignore them, unless its constructive critisism. I'm happy to say I get a huge majority of really awesome comments so its easier to ignore the negative ones.

CoI: Have you ever met fans face-to-face?
TS: Yes a few times. I must say its really strange. They tend to treat you as if your someone famous, and I don't see myself that way at all. One guy actually wrote in his blog after meeting me " She was so nice, almost like she doesn't know she is a celebrity". I laughed when I saw that. Its always a nice feeling when someone recognises me though. I met a Hopeful recently who came up to me and told me that my Swingers Club set was the reason she decided to be an SG. I actually felt honoured. Its a weird feeling being someone who affects other peoples actions like that.
CoI: Well the Swingers Club set was an amazing set of pics. I would think that is a very cool feeling to know you have influenced others.

CoI: I am assuming you know of Amina Munster from SG obtaining the copyright for her chest piece, after she saw a guy had the EXACT same piece put on his chest. What are your feelings on that?
TS: I have to say for people serious about tattoos, its a really personal thing. Your tattoos are part of who you are, and they depict aspects of yourself. I could honestly say that while its flattering having people love your tats, I think I would also be kinda mad if I saw someone with the exact same tat as me. I mean that tattoo has meaning for me, and it was very specifically chosen for that reason.

CoI: Do you have any favorite models of your own from SG?
TS: Oh there are so many. I'll always say Apnea (ex SG but the coolest alternative model alive), Nena, Sliver, Rashel, and of course the gorgeous SA SGs who I love working with Lumo, Hadess and Diaz. They actually ooze sex appeal :D

CoI: Any immediate plans for more ink and/or piercings?
TS: Oh yes loads haha. Like I said before I'm going to extend my shoulder tat to become a full sleeve, and then extend it down my side and across my back :D Might take me a while but its going to be kick ass when its done!! And after that probably a lot more. Its actually an addiction. :D

CoI: Other than tattoos, do you have any other interests or hobbies you are willing to devulge?
TS: Ah well I'm part of a new Burlesque troupe. I love to dance and I love being sexy so I thought why not combine the two and make some money at the same time :D We have been working on our dances for months, and are going to start performing early next year again. The troupe is called Circus Gothica and our aim is to include other interesting alternative acts in between our dances so its got something of an alternative carnival vibe. We have some very talented people involved so its really exciting.
CoI: I think Circus Gothica soubds like a very cool vibe. It seems to be an incredible idea that is destined for success.

CoI: I would like to thank you for you time. Its always nice to see the thoughts of a beautiful, tattooed pin-up girl.  One last question... other than SG, are blog followers able to find pics of you anywhere else that you would like to promote?
TS: At the moment I don't have my pics up anywhere else. I'm focusing on Circus Gothica right now, but I might branch out in the future to other sites like Zivity when I have time.

CoI: Tarion, thanks so much for taking the time to answer these questions all the way from South Africa. You are surely one of the SGs that make the price of membership well worth it. I have sincerely enjoyed your answers and the chance to get to know you on a little more of a personal level. I wish you all the luck with Circus Gothica, and any future sets posted at SuicideGirls.com.
